Winter has come at last. We have a fresh slate of snow and are getting ready for all those great winter activities. The Madawaska Valley Ski Hill is set to open December 19 and boasts all new rental equipment as well as a new snowboarding lift and run. Carson Lake is freezing nicely in time for the January 1 ice fishing season opener and snowmobilers are starting to plan their winter adventures. Indeed winter is a great time to visit the cottage.
